GALLERY > Masks

I have a wide spectrum in which I function as an artist. Over the years I have focused my skills towards sculpting glass, enabling my ideas and understandings to be expressed more conceptually. My vision is a mildly dark, comical interpretation of common truisms. The masks represent the façade that humans wear to hide their true selves during discourse and daily interaction. They expose our need for small talk to cover true emotions and outwardly portray a different thought or concern. The uselessness of mundane conversations can depict a false idea of caring. When starring at the faces of the masks, one can’t help but hear them blithering, “BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.”
